“What we believe influences who we are and, in turn, impacts everything we do.” Gary R. Collins
THE BURNOUT PROBLEM
It’s hard to recognize when you’re drowning until you’re…well…drowning. And if you’ve made your way to this page, chances are, that’s you.
Call it burnout, fatigue, or whatever other word you feel like describes the overwhelming and discouraging sensation that you can’t keep with your life.
If you are questioning your calling and thinking about stepping out of ministry, or just feeling overwhelmed, hold on! There is hope. It could be that your life just needs some “tweaking.”
Maybe your priorities need to be adjusted or a new discipline needs to be introduced. Maybe you need some new hobbies or life-giving activities.
The problem may seem completely daunting, but the solution could be really simple. I’d love to help!
HERE'S WHERE COACHING COMES IN
Sometimes our struggle is not being able to identify the source of our frustration.
We know we're facing burnout, but we don't know why or how to fix it.
I want help you process through the areas that could be causing tension. I do this by asking thoughtful questions and pointing out areas you may have overlooked. Coaching is basically a good, relaxed conversation. A second set of eyes on an issue can be so beneficial!
Together, we’ll develop a game plan so that you can effectively tackle the issue(s) and then proceed to build healthy habits for longevity and momentum in ministry.
Building a healthy lifestyle in ministry is achievable with discipline and the right tools.
COACHING VS COUNSELING
Both Counseling and Coaching are incredible resources. Often the goal is the same, but the method differs.
Counseling uses different techniques, often offers more direction, and can guide you through trauma, grief, abuse, etc. Focusing on how the past impacts the present is often a theme. While sometimes in coaching you have to discuss the past to move forward, the goal is not to linger there, but keep taking next steps. I am not certified to help you heal from the past, but to keep you moving.
Please seek professional counseling for help in those areas.

Overseas or Stateside
If you are a missionary, on a missions team, or spouse to a missionary, I would love to help you process. All calls are over Zoom and can be worked around international time zones.

Tara is absolutely fantastic! I went through the most devastating year of my life, and she was there to help me process next steps and taking things one at a time. She help me with practical steps and skills to help me continue even after coaching.
Tara is an incredible life coach! She never assigned meaning to what I was sharing or how I was feeling, but prompted me with questions that helped uncover patterns in my life and mind sets that I had held to for years.
Tara was an amazing life coach for me. I love how she asked me questions that I would have never thought of and encouraged me every week. She kept me motivated and excited about what was going on in my life. I would recommend her to anyone!
