Alongside Tara Barreca Coaching, I serve as the Coaching Specialist for Chi Alpha Christian Ministries, a national organization whose mission is to reconcile students to Christ.
OFFERING SUPPORT
In my time coaching, I quickly noticed a pattern: many of my clients are people transitioning out of ministry. They have needed help processing how to move forward in looking for jobs and how to set practical goals while they transition into their new lives. The more we process, the more I keep hearing a common theme: burnout. So many pastors and people in ministry are quitting the field due to burnout for various reasons. Especially in light of the past year. This breaks my heart. Leaving any career due to burnout is simply tragic. And it made me wonder...what if coaching could have taken place earlier in their career? Could some of these issues have been worked through or eliminated?

I’ve developed a strong passion to offer support to those in ministry...not just to overcome obstacles, but to thrive in the calling the Lord has placed on their lives. Those in ministry desperately need support.
This led me back to my roots for a conversation with Chi Alpha Campus Ministries (www.chialpha.com). My husband and I served on staff with Chi Alpha for over six years and absolutely loved our time with the organization. I have the amazing opportunity to come alongside the growing coaching department they have as the Chi Alpha Coaching Specialist. What an incredible opportunity to offer support to pastors and their staff in a ministry I know and love so much!
My hope is to help campus ministers gain momentum in their life, health, ministry, and leadership. Healthy leaders produce healthy disciples.

PROVIDE COACHING TO HIGH LEVEL LEADERS AND THEIR STAFF.
ASSIST IN THE RECRUITMENT, TRAINING, DEVELOPING, AND CERTIFYING OF COACHES.
ASSIST THE NATIONAL COACHING DIRECTOR IN THE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE NATIONAL CHI ALPHA ORGANIZATIONAL COACHING STRATEGY.

Support for Campus Pastors and their Staff to Receive Coaching

Six Months of Coaching
Cover 6 months of coaching. These are one hour, weekly sessions for Chi Alpha Campus Pastors or staff members.

This package covers coaching for 4 pastors or staff members over the course of 6 months.
A minimum of 6 months is recommended to see momentum in their selected field of growth.

Cover 8 months of coaching. These are one hour, weekly sessions for Chi Alpha Campus Pastors or staff members.

WHAT IS MINISTRY COACHING?
It is a way to help pastors process, set goals, and move forward in their life through intentional question asking. I want to provide support for Chi Alpha Pastors and staff members to fully live in the calling God has placed on their lives, overcome obstacles, and process through areas that could be causing tension or prohibiting growth. I do this by asking thoughtful questions and pointing out areas that may have been overlooked. Coaching is basically a good, relaxed conversation...a second set of eyes can be so beneficial!

In my role as the Chi Alpha Coaching Specialist, I will be coaching pastors and staff members and assisting in the growth and vision of the Chi Alpha Coaching Program.
